40 Days of Praise

This was meant for August 12th, and somehow never got published. Interesting.

Want a break through in your life? Join me in 40 days of concentrated praise. From tomorrow morning, August 13, 2012,  to September 21st. Let's create a new habit by concentrating for 40 days on praising God in our storms, in our depravity, in our brokenness, in our wealth, in our scarcity, in our blessings, in all things and all circumstances. Let's praise Him for the victory that we have received and will receive in Jesus name. Our eyes will be on Him and not on the storm or the water as we step out of the boat in faith.

Repent, praise, worship, sacrifice what God asks you to sacrifice, and then stand at your post where God asks you to stand all the while praising Him for the impending victory. Look at 2nd Chronicles 15:

Those who submit to God and praise Him are rewarded for their obedience.
Most of us have smart phones or at the least a calendar in good location to view daily. Plug this into your calendar and give yourself a daily reminder. Are you in? Like if you are with me. Post your praise daily, post your scriptures, share, and invite your friends to join us. My personal reach with the blog, Facebook, twitter, and Pinterest could be infinitely multiplied if you spread the word to your connections!

Isaiah 61: 1 "The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me

to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,

to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners,[a]

2 to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God,

to comfort all who mourn, 3 and provide for those who grieve in Zion—

to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes,

the oil of joy instead of mourning,

and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.

They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord

for the display of his splendor."

Put on your garment of praise. Look at Acts 16:16-40 at the story of Paul and Silas in prison. What set them free? Praise. Praise brings the victory!

Thank you, Lisa G for your submission to the Holy Spirit and for giving today's confirming message to me for something God has been talking to me about, too.
