More Answered Prayer

Prayer Answered Confirmation: the house in Shiner that I thought was heading for foreclosure is now under a contract to sell!!! Yippee! What a relief. A family member steps up to help me out, catch me up, finance some repairs, and BAM a contract. So, next weekend and however many weekends it takes will consist of some painting and repairing for the fulfillment of the contract. Plus, the sale price should cover my family member's investment. I am overwhelmed, and I definitely won't have to think about abject boredom for the next few weekends.

Second answered prayer: my 14 ft tall Christmas tree (hyperbole) loomed in the living room needing undressing and removal. I took down all of the decorations, but I didn't feel comfortable calling and asking any new friends for help removing the monster sized tree. Most of my circle of friends and family live a good 45 minutes away. I was not going to call someone to drive 90 miles round trip for a ten minute tree removal.

So, I opened the front door, looked at the tree in the other room and tried to figure out how to get it from the living room, through the foyer, and outside by myself (child who must not be named was down in the back). So, I left the door open and started working on my blog...neighbor comes over to see if we are ok since our door was open. I tell her my tree dilemma. She volunteers her husband, and tree is gone in minutes. God takes care of the small things, and God takes care of the really BIG things. Way to go 2012!! Thank you, God, for answered prayer big and small!

I am thinking that God is on a roll. So, here goes my next few prayer requests:  ministry to become my full time job/life/passion/focus, my child's back completely healed, my children's hearts healed (1 physically and 1 emotionally and spiritually), book to sell big which will answer so many prayers for so many people that I love, posi-fit to impact many women and create a model for future classes in the ministry, lose last 15 lbs and be fit enough to do mini-triathlon in June, need a pool to swim in to prepare for June, prince to be sent to my single cousin in Austin, health and restoration for my mother, sell one of my songs, healthy delivery and healthy baby for my friend, restoration for a family that I love, restoration and a prince for my new single friend, restoration and a princess for a friend that I dearly love, God's hand on our local school system and community leadership, restoration for a church family that I love, and explosion of ministry in the USA that will reach many, many places! I would pray for our government, but my heart wouldn't be in it. OK, I will fake it...God please do something with our government; I don't know what you should do though. I do love my country, and I do want to see America reach its potential.

1 John 3: 21- 24 "Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God and receive from him anything we ask, because we obey his commands and do what pleases him. And this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us. Those who obey his commands live in him, and he in them. And this is how we know that he lives in us: We know it by the Spirit he gave us."

As you can tell in my blogs, I struggle to stay positive in times of trial thus the meat in the POSITUDE book that I am writing with my brother-in-law. One struggle that I do not have is loving God and believing in Jesus. Even though it is hard to love others who hurt me, I am still called to do it. God does answer prayer; even for a sinner like me. He will do so for you. Call on His name, believe, and keep the faith. The answer may not be yes, but it may.  He has given me a Spirit tuned into him when I let it be. He will do the same for you. Stand firm. Keep the faith. Seek God's will.

Special Note: POSI-FIT is a faith-based fitness class; I mention it in previous blogs.
